Mortgage inspection can be requested on:

• natural persons and reports whether and where there are registrations, transcriptions and annotations relating to a natural person;
• on legal entities and reports whether and where there are registrations, transcriptions and annotations relating to a specific legal entity (body, company).

Who can request a mortgage inspection?

The national mortgage inspection can be requested by anyone, as long as they know the data of the natural or legal person for whom they intend to obtain the document.

To request a mortgage inspection on a physical subject, the form must be filled out by entering the following information:

• name of the natural person;
• surname of the natural person;
• tax code of the natural person;

To request a mortgage inspection on a legal entity, you must fill out the form by entering the following information:

• name or corporate name of the legal person;
• tax code or VAT number of the legal entity.

NB it cannot be requested in the provinces where the land register system is in force. (Trento, Bolzano, Trieste and Gorizia)

What does the National Mortgage Inspection contain?

The data contained in the national mortgage inspection have legal value and are the list of any formalities (transcriptions, registrations and annotations) registered in the Italian Land Registry Offices.
